Freehold ESEA Title I Parent Information

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) was established in 1965 as part of President Lyndon B. Johnson’s “War on Poverty." It is the largest elementary and secondary education assistance program.

The Title I, Part A program provides federal supplemental funds of over $14 billion for students in schools with concentrations of low income students. Freehold High School receives federal funding. Please find important information below for parents of Title I students.
